Paulo Rossi was a pin up idol during the golden period of Italian football in the 80's. After serving a two year ban for match fixing Rossi was a surprise inclusion in the Italian 82 World Cup Finals squad. After a faltering start in the group stages Rossi scored a hat-trick against Brazil in a 3-2 victory and went on to lead Italy to World Cup victory including a goal in the Final against Germany and with it the Golden boot and the Golden ball - the only player to have ever won all three honours in a tournament! An iconic figure of Italian football Paulo Rossi went on later that year to grab the European player of the year and the World football of the year for 1982.
In terms of his autograph it is a particularly rare signature to obtain.
